01. Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Yes, in compliance with Islamorada regulations, we are licensed to offer rentals for a minimum duration of 7 nights or longer.

02. What is included in the rental rate? 

​

Our rental rates include complimentary toiletries and paper products to get you started, linens, beach towels, and access to the property's amenities, including use of kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles. Propane is provided for all grills.

03. Are there laundry facilities on-site? 

​

The Dock View House does have a washer and dryer.

 

We provide complimentary laundry service (including washing, drying and folding) for all guests. This service is conveniently offered at a laundromat under the same ownership, located just one mile south on US1.

04. Are the amenities, including the pool, shared between all houses? 

​

Yes, Mermaid's Bay is set up like a boutique-style resort, and all three rental units have access to the shared amenities (pool, dock and beach). The dock, pool and beach are well-equipped to handle large groups. For those seeking complete privacy, the entire property can be rented exclusively.

05. Is the pool heated/chilled? 

​

Yes! The pool is heated/chilled to a comfortable temperature year round. 

​

06. Is there extra parking, including parking for boat trailers? 

​

The property offers ample parking space, including a designated area specifically reserved for boat trailer parking. 

​

07. Are pets allowed? 

​

We are pet friendly on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire for more information on our pet policy.

08. How close is the property to local attractions and amenities? 

​

Our prime location in the heart of Islamorada (MM82) offers you the convenience of easily accessing world-class fishing, award-winning restaurants, and a charming blend of boutiques and art galleries, all within a brief walk or quick ride. We provide an attraction guide with suggestions for local businesses.

09. Can I host events or parties at the property? 

​

We do allow events, but they must be approved in advance by the property manager and owner. An additional event fee may apply. Please contact us to discuss your specific event needs.

10. What is the depth in the boat basin at low tide? Are there any channels to navigate through? 

​

The depth in the boat basin and waters surrounding is 4' at low tide. The boat basin can be accessed directly from the Florida Bay, with no channels or shallow water to navigate through.
